Extraction: This vegetable oil is cold-pressed from evening primrose seeds and filtered.

Main Components: Oleic Acid (C18:1): 6,55%

Linoleic acid (C18:2): 72,74%

γ-linolenic acid (C18:3) GLA: 10,08%

Stearic acid (C18:0): 2,02%

Palmitic acid (C16:0): 6,67%

Oil Characteristics: Smell and aroma: Strong, sometimes pungent

Density at 20°C: between 0,91 and 0,93

Peroxide value: 1.72 meq. per kg

Color: Clear yellow

Saponification index: 175-199

Cosmetic
Rich in vitamin E, evening primrose oil is an excellent anti-ageing, anti-wrinkle and revitalising. It softens and regenerates skin. It restores brightness to nails and hairs. It is recommended for women with hormone problems, or after 40 years. It helps fight against skin ageing. Whatever your skin type, evening primrose regulates moisture and protects from external threats. Its properties are very similar to borage oil.
